Associate Product Analyst

YOUR PURPOSE AND FUNCTION IN OUR COMPANY:

The Associate Product Analyst will support the Product Management team in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of P&C insurance products. With guidance and mentorship, the Associate Product Analyst will assist in executing product-related tasks such as competitive research, coverage analysis, form development, and requirement documentation. This role is designed to build core competencies in product strategy and start to develop cross-functional collaboration, working with teams in underwriting, actuarial, sales, and project management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within the insurance industry.

The Associate Product Analyst will:

• Conduct routine market and competitor analysis to inform product decisions
• Assist in drafting and reviewing policy language and coverage forms under supervision.
• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements to support the development and implementation of a new policy administration system, ensuring alignment with product strategy and operational needs
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new product systems or updates.
• Learn regulatory and compliance basics by supporting the preparation of product forms, rules, and filings under guidance from senior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in P&C insurance environment.
• Experience with various P&C products, including CPP and those based on rating bureaus such as ISO or AIB is a plus.
• Experience with SERFF or other rate filing search systems preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with emphasis in Word

The salary range for the role is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, paid on an hourly basis . The rate offered to any candidate will be reflective of the candidate’s experience and any relevant education, certification, or qualifications related to their ability to perform the responsibilities of this position as permitted by law.
